Author Biography

Mark Duffett, Department of Music, Media and Performance University of Chester

Dr Mark Duffett is a Reader in Media and Cultural Studies at the University of Chester. His research focuses on popular music fandom and Elvis Presley. Mark is the author of Understanding Fandom (Bloomsbury 2013) and has edited two books for Routledge on popular music fandom. He is currently co-writing a book with Dr Jon Hackett for Bloomsbury on popular music, masculinity and monstrosity.
